Surprise Version 2.0 UPDATE!

Yo, what's up! It's been nearly 3 years since I've finished this little game, and since then I've been hard at work on its re-imagined successor, also named BUDD. While working on that, I had some ideas that made me want to push out a quick quality of life patch for the original! Truth be told I wanted to do some of these changes back in 2020, but I've been too busy with the new game to bother.

This update brings an entire new secret character, 16:9 Widescreen, an options menu, saving and loading, various gameplay tweaks, and plenty of other quality of life changes. Hopefully these changes make this much smoother to come back to than the original! Naturally, the original will still be around if you have a soft spot for its... unforgiving difficulty.

Pocket Mode
Why did I even add this screen setting? I don't know, it was a dumb idea I had when playing a certain subscription-based portable console emulator.
